NOVA™ Infusion Pittsburgh, PA

Recalibrate & Reset

NOVA Infusion at PCPS

NOVA Infusion is our IV hydration and nutrient support option inside the NOVA recovery ecosystem. It’s designed to be simple, supervised, and strategically timed, most often added onto a post-operative appointment or other EvO™ session. We keep it practical. IV therapy is not “magic,” and it’s not a replacement for sleep, nutrition, or medical care. But when you’re dehydrated, run down, puffy after travel, or trying to stabilize during a demanding week, direct delivery of fluids and selected vitamins/minerals can be a useful support tool. Our role is to screen appropriately, match the bag to your goals, and keep the experience calm and medical, not trendy.

Bridging the Gap in Recovery

What is NOVA Infusion?

IV therapy is an intravenous infusion of fluids combined with selected nutrients. Because it bypasses the gut, delivery is direct to the bloodstream. That can be helpful when you need hydration support efficiently, or when you want to avoid the variability of oral absorption in the middle of a busy or recovery‑focused week.

Before any infusion, we review your health history, medications, allergies, and the reason you’re considering an IV. If you are post‑procedure, we also factor in your surgeon’s instructions and where you are in the recovery timeline.

Your Infusion Options

The Menu: Four Targeted IVs

Recovery IV

Ascorbic Acid, Olympia Vita Complex, Amino Blend, Olympia Mineral Blend

Built for bounce-back days. Hydrates while supporting electrolytes and amino acids the body uses during stress, long travel, or intense training.

Beauty IV

Ascorbic Acid, Olympia Vita Complex, Biotin

A wellness-minded option for patients who want to nourish from the inside. Think hydration plus vitamins, frequently associated with skin/hair health.

Inflammation IV

Ascorbic Acid, Olympia Vita Complex, Amino Blend, Olympia Mineral Blend

For heavy legs, puffiness, or post-event soreness. Pairs well with NOVA Flow: Massage on a different day when you want a more thorough reset.

Lean IV

Taurine, Olympia Vita Complex, Methylcobalamin (B12)

Supports clean energy for busy weeks. Helpful before travel, during demanding schedules, or when you’re dialing in training and nutrition.

Ingredient notes are shared for transparency. Your clinician will review allergies, medications, and health history before recommending an option.

When Infusion Makes Sense

Who It’s For (Candidates)

NOVA Infusion is most useful when it is timed with intent. Many patients add an infusion to an EvO skin visit or a NOVA appointment when they want a fuller recovery effect in a single trip. Others schedule it around travel, long work weeks, or early post‑procedure recovery windows when hydration and steadiness matter.

If your main goal is long‑term skin quality, collagen, or body composition, the IV should be considered a support layer—a helpful adjunct while the main plan is built through procedures, nutrition, sleep, movement, and consistent skincare.

We’ll avoid or delay IV therapy if you have certain heart/kidney conditions, active infections, G6PD deficiency (for high-dose vitamin C), or a history that makes IVs unsafe.

Inside the IV

How It Works

We start with a brief screening and goal review. Your arm is prepped and a small IV catheter is placed. The infusion then runs at a comfortable pace, typically 35–60 minutes. During that time you can relax, read, or work quietly. We monitor you throughout. After the infusion, the IV is removed, and a small bandage is applied.

When appropriate, we can coordinate the timing so the infusion runs while you’re already in the office for another service. If a separate appointment makes more sense based on flow, medications, or your recovery stage, we’ll tell you that directly.

Hours Not Days

When You’ll Feel It

Hydration support often feels noticeable within hours, and many patients describe feeling steadier the next morning. That said, the effect is naturally short‑term unless it’s paired with the habits that actually drive recovery: adequate sleep, protein and micronutrients, consistent hydration, and smart activity.

For patients using infusions as part of a recovery plan, the goal is not a dramatic “before and after.” It’s smoother weeks, less drag, fewer crashes, and a more comfortable recovery arc.

Hydration benefits often land within hours. Many patients feel steadier the next morning. Skin-focused goals are built with consistent care.

For healthy adults with proper screening, risks are low. We avoid IVs in certain conditions (e.g., kidney disease, specific enzyme deficiencies) and adjust doses to your history.

Yes, that is how we recommend NOVA Infusion. For example, book an Infusion near the end of a trip or a particularly demanding week while you receive an EvO Experience facial.

No. IV therapy is supportive, not a cure. It doesn’t replace medical care. If you’re unwell, call your physician or seek urgent care.
